Refund Policy

1. General Principles
Verbabit SRL is committed to delivering high-quality services and resolving any issues fairly. This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by Verbabit and complies with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and applicable Romanian consumer protection law.
2. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
If you are a consumer (an individual acting outside of any trade, business, or profession), you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar daysfrom the date the contract was concluded, without giving any reason.
2.1 Exception: Digital Services Commenced with Your Consent
Important: The right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content or digital services if:
- You have given your explicit prior consent for delivery to begin during the withdrawal period, AND
- You have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
When you engage Verbabit for services, you will be asked to confirm: “I agree that Verbabit may begin work immediately, and I understand that I waive my right of withdrawal once service delivery has commenced.”
If you have not given this consent, the 14-day withdrawal right applies in full. To exercise it, contact us at [email protected]before the withdrawal period expires.
2.2 Refund upon Valid Withdrawal
If withdrawal is valid and no work has commenced, we will refund any deposit paid within 14 calendar days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
3. B2B Clients
Business-to-business (B2B) engagements are governed by the contract or Statement of Work (SOW) between Verbabit and the client. The statutory consumer withdrawal right does not apply to B2B contracts.
4. Partial Refunds
If a project is terminated after work has commenced (by either party), Verbabit will invoice for work completed to date. Any overpayment will be refunded within 14 days of the final reconciliation.
5. Service Quality Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with our work, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] so we can resolve the matter. Verbabit will, at its discretion, rework non-conforming deliverables at no additional cost, provided defects are reported within 30 days of delivery.
